You Don’t Have To Hold It All Together

You don’t have to hold it all together.

When I think about holding it all together…
I think about a fish out of water—
gasping, trying to breathe in a place it was never meant to survive.

And sometimes… that’s exactly how it feels.

There are moments when I feel like
if I let go of the weight I’ve been carrying,
everything will fall apart.

So, I keep holding it.

Even when I know…
it’s doing more harm than good.

My body is weary.
But my mind keeps saying,

“Just one more mile.”

The problem is…
that mile never comes.

Because I keep adding more weight.
More responsibility.
More pressure.

And somewhere along the way…
I stopped asking myself if I was okay.

But here’s the truth I’m learning:

You were never meant to carry it all.

Not every weight.
Not every expectation.
Not everything for everyone.

At some point…
you must come back to yourself.

You must breathe again.

You must put something down.

Because you are not a machine.

And you are not meant to live your life
gasping for air while calling it strength.

So today…
maybe you don’t hold it all together.

Maybe you let something go.

And maybe, in doing that…
you finally give yourself room to breathe 💛
